The Trustworthy Brand survey is an initiative that was created in cooperation between the publisher of the monthly magazine My Company Poland and the Kantar Poland Research Institute. The online survey involved 1,110 respondents, who in each category indicated one brand that they trust the most. More than 160 brand names were mentioned in the survey, but it was the Amazon brand that was mentioned most often in the category ‘Next-generation of e-commerce, that is, companies that can win the hearts of customers online’, and was among the elite 25 winners awarded the title of Trustworthy Brand 2023.

In online sales, trust is a factor that is particularly essential to success, and strengthening this trust is a long-term investment for us. “It is important for us to offer customers an exceptional shopping experience, which consists primarily of transactions, security, and high-quality products. This would not be possible without the commitment of thousands of Polish SMEs selling on Amazon stores,” said Aleksandra Borycka, Head of Marketplace at Amazon Poland, receiving the award at a ceremony in Warsaw.

We are constantly enriching our product offering for customers and supporting entrepreneurs to grow their businesses in Poland and abroad. Whether a customer buys directly from Amazon or from one of our hundreds of thousands of selling partners, they want to be sure they are getting an authentic product. As outlined in Amazon’s 2022 Brand Protection Report, we have already invested over $1.2 billion and employed more than 15,000 people to protect customers, brands, and partners from inauthentic products, fraud and other types of abuse. In addition, merchants can count on access to programmes such as Brand Registry and Project Zero.

We know that in addition to tools that protect sellers, entrepreneurs need access to the latest technologies and knowledge on how to grow their e-commerce business. That's why we offer them the free Amazon Small Business Accelerator (ASBA) online education programme, with access to online training, expert advice, and industry events. As part of the European Expansion Accelerator, launched in April 2023, Amazon is making it easier for selling partners to grow across all of its nine stores in Europe, while giving customers access to millions of products.

“As much as we are committed to customer satisfaction, we are equally committed to building trustworthy relationships with sellers. We believe that being awarded the title of Trustworthy Brand by entrepreneurs confirms that we have adopted the right strategy,” added Aleksandra Borycka.
