On June 26th and 27th, over 500 Relay Carriers and Amazon Freight Partners representing 17 European countries, gathered in Fira Barcelona for the fifth edition of the Amazon FastForward, our annual flagship event designed to celebrate, connect, and co-create with the carrier community powering our transportation network.
The energy, insights, and shared purpose that filled the venue underscored our 2025 tagline: ‘Together, we go further’. This wasn’t just a tagline, it was a genuine reflection of the spirit that guided every keynote, discussion, and connection made over the course of the two-day event.
A platform for progress and partnership
Amazon FastForward 2025 was all about collaboration and growth. Carriers explored how Amazon is striving to be their Shipper of Choice, while also learning how to Adapt for Success in a fast-evolving logistics environment.
Over 32 speeches and sessions were held, where speakers introduced upcoming innovations – like Relay Assistant – an AI-powered support tool designed to help carriers resolve issues faster. We also announced longer duration contracts of 16 weeks through Relay Contracts, offering more predictability and planning confidence to our carriers. New safety features were unveiled, including the How’s My Driving feedback programme via the Relay Operations Centre (ROC), and attendees gained deeper insights into our growing sustainability investments across Europe.
Innovation in action
Several new initiatives launched at Amazon FastForward 2025 reflected Amazon’s ongoing commitment to listening to our partners and working together to improve the future of transportation.
Our Carrier Community Impact Team, along with the dedication of carriers, partners, and Amazonians, came together to help assemble 600 care kits for socially vulnerable families. In collaboration with Altius, this effort is part of a larger goal to donate five tons of groceries to those in need.

Carriers and partners also had the chance to connect with industry leaders and explore new tools for growth, such as Hylane for hydrogen truck rentals, TAPA for security certifications, and the Smart Freight Centre for sustainability training.

Honouring achievements and celebrating freight logistics
For the first time, the Amazon FastForward awards ceremony moved to the stunning Caves Codorníu, one of the oldest wineries in Spain, known for its breathtaking modernist architecture and underground cellars stretching over 30 kilometres.
This is where we honoured achievements across 20 award categories, including carrier Excellence, Sustainability, Community Impact, and Rising Stars. It was more than an awards night; it was a celebration of the individuals and businesses redefining what’s possible in transportation.
In their words: carrier voices
What makes FastForward truly stand-out year after year, is the authentic feedback from our carrier community. Whether new to the Amazon network or seasoned carriers, attendees consistently share how meaningful the events are to their businesses.
- “This was the best platform as a new carrier we've had so far to engage with Amazon teams and business across Europe.” — Gurpreet Singh, Eagle Freights.
- “Even better than last year! The logistics design really came through. It was a great opportunity to join new programs like RCM.” — Linards, Rideo GmbH
- “I’ve only been part of the Amazon Freight Partner program for two weeks, but I’m already impressed. Seeing the scale of Amazon up close has been incredible.” — Yunus, Laya Logistics
- “Amazon keeps on raising the bar every year with this event.” — Linards Becs, KREIS

Looking ahead
Amazon FastForward 2025 proved that when we unite carriers, partners, and Amazon teams in one space to exchange ideas, share feedback, and build solutions together, we accelerate not just innovation, but real momentum across our entire transportation network.
Some of the leaders behind Amazon FastForward shared their reflections on what made this year’s event so impactful, and what’s next:
“Amazon FastForward isn’t just an event; it’s a reflection of the deep partnerships and collaboration we’ve built across Europe. Every conversation this year confirmed that our carrier community is stronger, more connected, and more ambitious than ever.” Said Vignesh Solairaj, Director Supply Chain EU Amazon Transportation Services.
“To all our Relay carriers and Amazon Freight Partners: thank you for your trust, energy, and collaboration. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together this year, and we’re already looking ahead. Amazon FastForward 2026 will be our biggest yet. We can’t wait to welcome you all to Rome next year!” said Fabian Duex, Director, Amazon EU Surface Transportation Operations.
