Customers have continuously turned to Alexa for accurate and timely information about COVID-19. In fact, in the last year, Alexa has answered tens of millions of questions related to COVID-19 from customers around the world. To ensure Alexa always has the information customers need, we worked quickly to grow Alexa’s knowledge about COVID-19.

Alexa is asked in French about a nearby COVID-19 vaccination site

Now, in France, Alexa can help customers easily find nearby vaccination sites. To get started, French customers can ask “Alexa, where can I get a COVID vaccine?” or say, “Alexa, where can I get a COVID-19 vaccine in Lyon?” to hear a list of locations close to them. French customers can then say, “Alexa, give me more information about the first one” to get the address and the telephone number of the location of their choice. Alexa will also automatically send a notification to their mobile phone with a link to sante.fr to get further information and book a slot in a vaccine center.

In parallel, if you have questions about the COVID-19 vaccines and eligibility requirements, Alexa is here to help. For instance, French customers can ask “Alexa, how many persons are vaccinated in France?”, “Alexa, is COVID-19 covered by health insurance?” or “Alexa, will I receive a COVID-19 vaccination certificate?
