Amazon introduces free shipping to Turkey for orders above 49 Euros.

Munich, 9 November 2016 – Turkish speaking Amazon customers can now enjoy a new convenience in their shopping experience on Amazon, switching their preferred language to Turkish on Amazon.de. Amazon.de has also launched free delivery on orders above 49 Euros for customers in Turkey, making Amazon.de an even better place for Turkish customers to shop.

In the initial phase, millions of translated product names and many other helpful parts of the website like the ‘Your Account’ section are available in Turkish. The service also provides Turkish navigation, Turkish-language customer service with email and phone support, as well as order and shipment information in Turkish. More translated pages and features will be added over time.

"We are delighted to offer our customers the opportunity to shop in Turkish and to be able to benefit from free shipping for orders above 49 Euros. This offer takes us a step closer to our vision of helping customers to buy anything they want on any of our European websites, free of any barriers" says Ralf Kleber, Country Manager Amazon.de.

On Amazon.de, customers benefit from a large selection of products in over 25 categories and a great delivery experience through Amazon’s reliable and fast logistics network. Turkish as a preferred language is available on desktop and mobile browsers and can be stored in customers’ profiles for future visits.

To enable the Turkish language experience, customers simply click on the globe button in the top navigation bar and select ‘Turkish’.

After launching the Amazon.de site in the English language in 2015, Dutch in August 2016, and Polish in October 2016, Turkish is now the fourth foreign language the Amazon.de site is available in. It provides a way for Turkish customers to make better informed shopping decisions, and for sellers and vendors of every size to internationalize their businesses by reaching Turkish-speaking customers.
