In April 2022, Polish carrier Maciej Nowakowski became an Amazon Freight Partner. Since then, his infrastructure construction and transport company, KTM Infrastruktura, has gone from strength to strength, enabling him to give back to his community.
That year, he also started supporting local orphanages by donating essentials like beds, clothes and toys, and supporting children’s travel to special events. One annual event he is involved with is the Polish Football Championship for Children from Orphanages.
Maciej’s collaboration with Amazon opened up a wide range of development opportunities for his company, enabling him to carry out this incredible work. Within two years, KTM Infrastruktura managed to double their fleet, giving Maciej enough resources to give back to his community.

Maciej says that his—and his company’s—goal is to open these children's minds to the possibilities that lie ahead of them. He aims to show that everyone, regardless of the start they had in life, has a chance to achieve a lot if they believe in themselves and strive to achieve their goals.

Plans for the future

Currently, Maciej’s company stands on two stable and mutually supporting pillars: infrastructure construction and transport. Maciej has been able to continuously grow the transport side of his business as a direct result of the connections his partnership with Amazon provides. As a result of his business’s successes, he is currently finalising the purchase of land for his company’s base near Poznań. This will bring further growth to KTM Infrastruktura, allowing Maciej to initiate new projects and creating new opportunities for him to give back to his community.
His goals for the future include continuing to develop his company and take on new, interesting challenges in both transport and construction. Ultimately, his dream is to establish a foundation that will build homes for disadvantaged children.

From offering financial aid and resources to orphanages to organising special events for children, Maciej’s efforts have made a tangible difference—building community and helping young people thrive. When asked why he does this community work, Maciej says: “I believe that helping others is one of the most important things we can offer the world. Very often, even small gestures, a kind word and closeness can do a lot and bring support to those who need it.”
He adds, “Financial support is the simplest form of help, but we wanted to give something more to the children – the belief that even though they haven’t had the ideal start to life, they can still achieve their dreams.”
