20,000 new jobs across Europe during 2020
Across Europe we’re creating thousands of quality jobs and investing billions in local economies.
To meet customer demand, we expect to create 20,000 jobs by the end of 2020, growing to more than 135,000 our employee population across 15 European countries.
Amazon has been in Austria for more than 20 years - and our teams have been on local sites for the past five years.
The company will double its permanent workforce in Spain in two years, from 7,000 employees at end 2019.

The Amazon EU Operations network consists of more than 40 fulfillment centres across Europe.
Following Amazon Logistics’ Sustainability guidelines, this building will be equipped with different energy efficiency systems such as optimum insulated roof and sidings, LED lightning, photovoltaic solar panels, and with a specific design to meet the needs of allocating electric delivery vehicles in the future.
