Amazon keeps investing heavily in its infrastructure across Europe recruiting thousands of employees over the past few years. Since 2010, Amazon has invested more than €20 billion and now has a workforce of over 65,000 in Europe.
We are pleased to announce that our contribution to Luxembourg’s economic development is recognized the Luxembourg-America business awards. Currently, 2,000 Amazonians work full-time in Luxembourg.
Fulfillment by Amazon
The Amazon EU Operations network consists of more than 40 fulfillment centres across Europe.
FBA is used by sellers of all sizes in more than 100 countries, and allows businesses to take advantage of Amazon's fulfilment services and focus their efforts on growing their business. Sellers from around the world use FBA to ship to 185 countries.
Norbert Brandau can see the construction site fence from his desk. When we meet him for our interview, he is wearing his yellow high-visibility jacket, which is part of his everyday work outfit. The fence in his office, however, is only temporary. Soon there will be offices for the employees of the new Amazon Fulfillment Center HAM 2 in the town of Winsen (Luhe).
