Amazon keeps investing heavily in its infrastructure across Europe recruiting thousands of employees over the past few years. Since 2010, Amazon has invested more than €20 billion and now has a workforce of over 65,000 in Europe.
Amazon plans to grow its Italian-based workforce from 3,500 today to over 5,200 during the year of 2018. Amazon has invested over 1.6 billion Euros in its Italian operations since 2010 Milan.
Company opens new Seller Support and Tech Hubs in Barcelona in addition to its Tech Hub in Madrid, hiring hundreds of software engineers, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning scientists Amazon has invested over 1.1 billion Euros in its Spanish operations since 2010.
Company hiring up and down the country in head office, research and development, AWS and operations roles Amazon Web Services (AWS) and UK Development Centres to add over 650 jobs this year bringing total UK head office, development centre and AWS roles to over 6,500.
Amazon plans to grow its France-based workforce from over 5,500 today to over 7,500 by the end of 2018. Amazon also empowers over 100,000 businesses and content creators through Amazon Marketplace, AWS and KDP to help them succeed.
We are pleased to announce that our contribution to Luxembourg’s economic development is recognized the Luxembourg-America business awards. Currently, 2,000 Amazonians work full-time in Luxembourg.
Amazon is set to have 650 highly skilled roles in Gdansk Development Center with an addition of 200 new roles this year. Amazon continues to create thousands of permanent full-time roles at its Polish Fulfilment Centers bringing its total workforce to over 14,000.
