Last year, European small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) sold more than 1.8 billion products on Amazon store. They have also created over 550,000 jobs in Europe to date to support their businesses online.
Half of the items sold on Amazon worldwide are from small and medium-sized businesses that offer their products through Amazon Marketplace.
Amazon launches Intellectual Property (IP) Accelerator program in Europe to help small businesses protect their brands and tackle counterfeit. IP Accelerator connects businesses with a network of trusted IP law firms who will charge pre-negotiated fees. Participating small businesses can access Amazon’s brand protection tools months before their trademark registration is issued.
