Amazon Turkey has donated to the regional wildfire efforts of the Turkish Red Crescent in the country's south-western corner by delivering more than 20,000 items of in-demand supplies to help provide regional disaster relief both for teams working on-the-ground and for families who are deeply affected by the fires — including shoes, clothing, bedding and flashlights.

Additionally, the company has contributed to the campaign initiated by the Turkish Foundation for Combating Soil Erosion, for Reforestation and the Protection of Natural Habitats (TEMA), by funding the replanting of one hundred thousand trees in assistance to wildfire recovery after the devastating bushfires.

Amazon also stands with communities in the northern Black Sea region who have been affected by the flash floods. Amazon Turkey has donated thousands of critical supplies, including clothing, boots, powerbanks and charging cables to Red Crescent to provide immediate relief to residents in need.

Amazon Turkey teams continue to work closely with the Turkish Red Crescent to help provide resources to aid in relief efforts where needed.
