The Fédération du Sport Cycliste Luxembourgeois (FSCL) and Amazon have enjoyed a successful working relationship for some time. Our focus is not only on competitive sports, but on cycling and biking in all its forms. For instance, the FSCL has already been participating at Amazon’s annual “Bike to Work” employee initiative for three consecutive years, which brings these areas together and showcases the bicycle as a sustainable and healthy means of transport. On June 3, World Cycling Day, Amazon will launch the campaign once again, which brings all employees together for a common mission to integrate cycling into their commute and lifestyle.
The collaboration with FSCL is set to continue and intensify in the future. Particular focus will be given to shared values such as promoting health, sustainability, and community through cycling. At the same time, it will emphasise the importance of cycling to society, as a whole.
In the future, the Amazon logo will appear on the chests and sleeves of FSCL jerseys. The fact that the red jerseys of the national team and the white jerseys of the ‘Centre de Formation’ will both feature the Amazon logo highlights the shared commitment to supporting competitive sports and developing young talent.
FSCL President, Camille Dahm, is very pleased with the collaboration: “With Amazon, we have gained a strong and reliable collaborator. The commitment of one of the world's largest companies shows us that we are on the right track as a federation. We share the same values and passion for cycling as Amazon, and we are convinced that together we can achieve our goals.”
FSCL Director General, Florian Salzinger, is also pleased with the collaboration: “Through our joint projects in the past, we have already established that we share the same convictions. For us, this collaboration is more than just a logo on a jersey. With projects in grassroots sports and our shared convictions, we are well-placed to succeed.”
Mariangela Marseglia, Vice President, Amazon European Stores, is thrilled about the collaboration: "Luxembourg is home to thousands of our employees, and we are deeply committed to being part of the fabric of this community. The FSCL has championed cycling in this country for generations — nurturing world-class athletes while inspiring people of all ages to get on a bike. That passion resonates with us. At Amazon, cycling is already woven into our culture here, from our annual 'Bike to Work' campaign to the enthusiasm of our employee cycling community. Partnering with the FSCL feels like a natural next step. It's about shared values: health, sustainability, and the belief that sport has the power to bring communities together."
Francesco Spreafico, Legal Director and Associate General Counsel at Amazon, member of the employee-led Amazon Cycling Group: „I am really excited to see Amazon and the FSCL collaborating further together on a topic that is close to my heart and other cycling enthusiasts at Amazon here, in Luxembourg. FSCL has been an integral partner for our ‘Bike to Work‘ campaign, and I can’t wait to see what more we can achieve together!“.
The first national shirts with the Amazon logo will be premiered at the Skoda Tour de Luxembourg in September 2026.
