The 86th edition of the Škoda Tour de Luxembourg, a UCI ProSeries race covering more than 700 kilometres across five stages through Luxembourg’s most iconic landscapes, will feature Amazon as a premium sponsor. The partnership demonstrates Amazon’s strong roots in the Grand Duchy, where it has maintained its European headquarters since 2003.

Andy Schleck, President of the Škoda Tour de Luxembourg, is delighted to welcome Amazon as a new partner: “We are very happy to welcome Amazon to the Škoda Tour de Luxembourg. Partnering with such a strong and internationally recognised company, which also has a significant presence here in Luxembourg, is a great opportunity for our Tour and marks another important step in its continued growth. We are very much looking forward to this new collaboration.”

A shared passion for cycling

Mariangela Marseglia, Vice President, Amazon European Stores, said: “Luxembourg has been the home of our EU headquarters for many years, and our sponsorship of the Škoda Tour de Luxembourg reflects our gratitude for a community that thousands of our employees proudly call home. At Amazon, we share the passion for cycling that the Tour de Luxembourg has been fostering for over 80 years: from providing a cycling‑friendly environment for bike commuters, including seasonal Bike to Work campaigns, to supporting an active employee‑led cycling club that brings together cyclists from across the community. This sponsorship is a natural extension of that commitment and puts us at the heart of one of Luxembourg’s most iconic sporting events. I’ve caught the cycling bug since moving to Luxembourg, and I love enjoying weekend rides with my family and tougher rides with friends on the great network of cycling paths around the country.”

Strengthening the collaboration with Luxembourg’s national cycling federation

The sponsorship of the Škoda Tour de Luxembourg builds on Amazon’s deepening collaboration with the Fédération du Sport Cycliste Luxembourgeois (FSCL), Luxembourg’s national cycling federation.

FSCL and Amazon Luxembourg collaboration

As part of this expanded collaboration, the Amazon logo will now feature on the FSCL’s national team jerseys, which will be on full display for the first time during the Škoda Tour de Luxembourg, where Luxembourg’s national riders will compete wearing the Amazon‑branded kit.

Amazon’s support for cycling extends well beyond sponsorships and partnerships. Across the company, employee‑led groups have built a vibrant cycling culture, organizing annual cycling events that bring together colleagues of all levels. In June 2025, for example, Amazon employees from over seven countries cycled from Brussels to Luxembourg alongside Andy Schleck, raising over €10,000 in donations for charities in the UK and Luxembourg. In addition, in coordination with the FSCL, employees will have the opportunity to meet Jempy Drucker, the national coach of the Luxembourg cycling team, who will speak to employees today and share stories from his career and insights on leadership.
