1. Callyope
What if 30 seconds of speech could reveal how someone is really doing? Callyope is bringing objectivity to mental health care with AI that detects early signs of relapse — before crisis strikes. In a field where half of patients can relapse within a year, their AWS-powered platform transforms speech samples and medical records into actionable insights with critical early warning alerts. Validated rigourously on thousands of patients, Callyope empowers mental health professionals to monitor and support patients safely, remotely, and at scale. Because every voice deserves to be heard and helped.
2. CareMates
In social care, time is the most valuable resource. CareMates is Germany's first AI-powered software for patient admissions, cutting admission time from five hours to one. Built on AWS cloud infrastructure and AI, digital forms, automated workflows, and AI-generated documentation streamline admissions at scale — returning thousands of hours to care professionals.
3. ETERNO
Doctors often have just seven minutes to understand a patient’s full story. ETERNO is helping clinicians use that time more effectively. Built on AWS, their cloud, native healthcare platform automates everything from booking to billing in outpatient care — cutting admin by 90% and freeing clinicians to focus on people, not paperwork. With LENI, their AI assistant, ETERNO helps doctors listen better and make more informed decisions faster. Already proven successful in clinics across Germany and now expanding across Europe, ETERNO is enabling more flexible work for clinicians, especially women, while making medicine more human-centred.
4. Hala Systems
When human life is under threat, Hala Systems turns data into life-saving decisions. Built on AWS, its AI-native tools fuse satellite imagery, audio, social media, and other data to warn humans of imminent threats and guide government response. From Syria to Ukraine, Hala’s technology has helped save lives and protect the most vulnerable communities.
5. Iktos
Drug discovery once took years, but now it can take months. Iktos combines AI and automated laboratory robotics to help design and make molecules faster than ever before and identify promising drug candidates that traditional methods would miss. Built on AWS, its platform halves development timelines and improves success rates, helping scientists bring new treatments to patients sooner. Iktos aims to bring new hope to the 400 million people worldwide living with rare diseases and millions more impacted by cancer, one precisely engineered molecule at a time.
6. Mindflow
IT professionals can waste hours on repetitive tasks. Mindflow is an Agentic Enterprise Automation platform that brings together a fleet of autonomous AI agents, an ultra intuitive no-code workflow engine, over 4,000 integrations, and enterprise-grade governance. Built on AWS with Amazon Bedrock, Mindflow keeps humans in control while AI handles repetitive operational work — often completing in seconds what once took hours — so teams can focus on what matters most: creating, protecting, and innovating.
7. MLL Munich Leukaemia Laboratory
At MLL Munich Leukaemia Laboratory, speed can mean survival. Every day, hundreds of blood and bone-marrow samples arrive with a single question: do I have blood cancer? By combining deep medical expertise with AI and cloud scale genomics on AWS, MLL can diagnose rare leukaemia subtypes in hours and days, not weeks. With over 1.4 million cases analysed and petabytes of data powering precision diagnostics, MLL is redefining how fast and accurate cancer diagnosis can save more lives.
8. myTomorrows
For people facing rare and serious disease, time can mean everything. myTomorrows uses AI on AWS to cut clinical trial matching time by 90%, quickly connecting physicians and patients with potentially life-changing options - with 98% accuracy. Active in 135 countries and having helped over 17,700 patients, myTomorrows bridges the gap between medical innovation and access - empowering families with even the rarest conditions, to discover and access pre-approval treatments globally.
9. Paebbl
Concrete has built our cities, but it's also one of the world's biggest sources of carbon emissions. Paebbl is rewriting that story. Using AWS, they've developed a process that transforms captured CO₂ into a carbon-storing concrete alternative that can permanently store up to 220kg of CO₂ per tonne of material produced. By accelerating nature's own mineralisation process, Paebbl helps construction companies reduce their concrete's carbon footprint. It's the future of construction — where every new structure helps restore the planet.
10. Proximie
Surgical teams face critical challenges in coordination, resource constraints, and knowledge sharing — contributing to a global crisis where 5 billion people lack access to safe surgery. Proximie addresses these challenges with a software layer that connects people, data, and devices inside operating rooms. Built on AWS, the platform supports remote collaboration, training, and shared expertise across diverse care settings. It also provides ambient operating room data capture with computer vision, a unified Electronic Health Record, integrated view of live surgical workflows, and AI-powered insights that support in-the-moment action. Together, these capabilities help surgical teams improve coordination, protect time, and make better use of existing resources - from rural hospitals to world-class medical centres.
11. Quandela
Quantum computers don’t have to look futuristic to change the future. Quandela is building photonic quantum machines that run at room temperature and connect through existing fibre networks, opening a new path toward quantum advantage. Using AWS to simulate quantum systems at massive scale, Quandela explores algorithms that classical computers can’t reach — from chemistry optimisation to AI acceleration. The first application for these computers is research. Universities and industry players around the world are using them to look at use cases for finance, chemistry and optimising logistics. Their ambition is simple and profound: make the impossible computationally accessible, efficiently, and sustainably.
12. XOCEAN
Most of our oceans remain unmapped, yet they hold the key to the planet’s future. XOCEAN operates a global fleet of autonomous, zero - emission vessels that collect critical ocean data across 23 jurisdictions for renewable energy projects. Powered by AWS, they process vast datasets in real time, having already supported over 48 GW of offshore wind development with aims to reach 100 GW this decade. Over the next five years XOCEAN’s goal is to prevent the emission of one million tons of carbon while protecting fragile marine ecosystems. It’s ocean science reimagined — cleaner, safer, and more accessible to all.
