The first lockers are available from today in six Dutch shopping centres operated by Wereldhave, marking our first step in rolling out this new delivery option. Customers can choose from millions of items on amazon.nl for free delivery to an Amazon Locker. Packages can be collected from the locker of choice as soon as the day after ordering, 7 days a week.

Locations
The first Amazon Lockers are now available in the following Wereldhave shopping centres: Stadshart Zoetermeer, Middenwaard Heerhugowaard, Eggert Purmerend, Koperwiek Capelle aan den IJssel, Cityplaza Nieuwegein and Vier Meren Hoofddorp. In collaboration with parking operator APCOA and property manager Aroundtown NL, 12 new lockers will be installed in the coming weeks: 7 locations at Aroundtown NL and 3 at APCOA. These new lockers will be available in Alkmaar, The Hague, Rotterdam, Vlaardingen, Amstelveen, Utrecht and Diemen.
How Amazon Lockers work
During checkout on amazon.nl, customers can see if an Amazon Locker is available in their area. If a locker is available, it can be selected as a delivery address. Once the package arrives at the Amazon Locker, customers receive an email with a unique code, the address, and opening hours. Customers then have 3 days to collect their package. At the locker, customers enter their code or scan the barcode, which automatically opens the locker.
Amazon offers accessibility features to accommodate all Amazon Locker users. All lockers include talking features, large and high contrast text, and the ability to always choose lower locker slots (15 to 48 inches from the ground).
