Amazon is set to have 650 highly skilled roles in Gdansk Development Center with an addition of 200 new roles this year.

Amazon continues to create thousands of permanent full-time roles at its Polish Fulfilment Centers bringing its total workforce to over 14 000.

Warsaw, June 19th, 2018 – Amazon announced today that it continues to hire in Poland bringing company’s total workforce to over 14,000 full-time employees this year. Amazon is looking for people with varying levels of experience, skills and education to fill a wide variety of positions available at the company; from engineers, corporate managers and technicians to those interested in entry-level positions.

The Amazon Development Center in Gdansk houses a variety of teams that deliver innovative solutions to power Amazon products and services around the world. The team, is responsible for developing Amazon innovations including the cloud-based voice-recognizing virtual assistant Alexa, will expand significantly from 450 highly skilled R&D roles to over 650 by the end of 2018.

Since 2013, Amazon has been developing the R&D center in Gdańsk, which is particularly important to us. Amazon will also hire graduates and interns in a variety of technical, non-technical and operational roles this year, as well as create a significant number of full-time roles at its 5 Fulfilment Centers in Poland. Amazon operations teams possess a wide range of skills and expertise, ranging from business analysis and inventory management to engineering.
